Originally, Conni simply wanted to know more about squirrels. But on a safari into the woods with granddad and Anna she discovers a whole lot of different animals, plants and fruits of the wood that you can even eat.
The autumn wind blows leaves from the trees and together with those leaves a kite lands in front of Conni's feet. It's a pity, its broken. But it gives Conni the idea to make her own together with Anna.
To have a sleepover at your best friend can really be pretty challenging. Especially, if they do everything different than at your own home. But after a pillow fight and many more fun frolics Conni really enjoys herself.
"But I don't want to go to the hairdresser!" Conni rebels and blinks through her bangs. She's heard that there are very high chairs at the hairdresser and that you're supposed to sit real still.
Oh no. Conni and her family are snowed in at an alpine hut. But that's just when the fun starts. Together they build an igloo, collect firewood, start a snowball fight and so much more.
What happens in springtime, anyway? Together with granddad and Simon Conni goes exploring. At the pond in the meadow they discover exciting things: There are wandering toads, hopping frogs and storks that can clatter!?
Conni knows the way back from kindergarten by heart. But today there's a construction site that blocks her way home. Oh no. How is she supposed to find the way home?
"But I'm not a baby anymore!" shouts Conni as her mum and dad look for a babysitter to take care of her and Jakob for an evening. She doesn't want a strange girl that looks after her and tells her when to go to sleep.
In the kindergarten they handicraft funny jewelry for the big carnival party. Everyone talks about how they will disguise themselves this year, only Conni is a bit perplexed.
You don't buy fleas at the flea market. Conni knows that much. But you have to prepare a lot for one: you have to make price tags and bring money for change, you have to build a pretty booth and maybe one has to part with things.
Why do you have to dig a whole if you want to build a house? What happens in the big cement mixer? What exactly is a crane good for? Conni and Simon think the visit of dad's construction site is super exciting and explore every corner.
Conni is exited as she goes to the big ice rink with her mum. If only Nina weren't there. She's a beginner, just like Conni, but she's always in Conni's way.
Dad doesn't really want to mow down all those nice daisies? And what's he doing with all those tiny plants in the pots? Maybe Conni could lend her dad a hand.
Making others laugh is great. And you can even learn that? Conni is amazed. Together with Simon and a real clown she discovers all the things a clown has to be able to do.
"Why do I have to look left, right, left, if the traffic lights are green?", Conni wonders. "And what if there are no traffic lights?" Conni thinks that there are a lot of things to discover in traffic.
To crawl like crocodile and to swing on lianas just like a monkey. "Have you been in the jungle today?" Dad is amazed. No. Conni goes exercising and that's a lot of fun.
Conni never would have thought that you could have so much fun taking the train. Huge signs with the names of cities and the numbers of the rail tracks, taking escalators, finding rail tracks.
"A monster lives under my bed", Conni admits hesitantly and tiredly rubs her eyes. "It must be a very lonely monster if it visits you all the time" mom comments sympathetically.
Conni would so have liked to build her sand fortress until the end but now she's gotten sick. Her nose is running, her throat hurts and additionally she's freezing.
Conni is angry. - Again someone threw garbage over the fence of the kindergarten. And in the park there is trash on the ground as well. Conni and the hedgehog-group have an idea: They start a big cleaning campaign.
When Hanne reads the story of the small lantern-fish she discovers that the kids already know it by heart. "Then why don't you play-act it yourself", she suggests. Conni can't wait for the big day when mum and dad will see her on stage.
When a dog-trainer visits the kindergarten, Conni learns the best way to get to know and how to greet a dog, how you pet him and then even get to play with him.
"I've got lice? But I wash my hair all the time!" Conni learns fast that this has got nothing to do with dirt and that this happens to a lot of kids. Mum and Conni declare war on the lice.
