Back in the day, when CinemaCon still was known as ShoWest, Adam Sandler was the conference’s standard bearer for A-list celebrity. In 1999, he won Comedy Star of the Year (for “The Waterboy”); in 2003, he received the conference’s Male Star of the Year (for “Punch-Drunk Love”). His popularity persisted once the conference was rebranded: In 2013, he took the stage on a chariot to promote “Grown Ups 2,” and won the Star award again in 2014 (“Blended”). Sneak Peek new images of actress, producer, director Salma Hayek in the latest issue of "GQ" (Mexico) magazine, photographed by Nico Bustos:

Hayek began her career in Mexico starring in the telenovela "Teresa", followed by the film "El Callejón de los Milagros" ("Miracle Alley") for which she was nominated for an 'Ariel Award'.

In 1991 Hayek moved to California and came to prominence with roles in movies including "Desperado" (1995), "Dogma" (1999), and "Wild Wild West" (1999).

Hayek's breakthrough role was in the 2002 feature "Frida" as Mexican painter 'Frida Kahlo' for which she was nominated in the category of 'Best Actress' for an 'Academy Award', 'BAFTA Award', 'Screen Actors Guild Award' and 'Golden Globe Award'.
