Plot Synopsis
Storyline
Jagdish (Vijay), an army captain, is back in Mumbai for a holiday to be with his parents and two sisters. They want him to get married and finds a bride Nisha (Kajal Aggarwal) for him. After the usual bickerings the couple fall in love. Meanwhile Jagadish an intelligence officer in the military, has a mission to crack down on terrorist sleeper cells in Mumbai. How Jagadish moving around as an ordinary person using his brain and brawn in the correct measure, tracks down the terrorist in his own unique way forms the rest of this escapist entertainer. As soon as the movie started, within 15 minutes of screening, I was able to figure it out that this movie is going to be great. The movie overall is the best & mass movie for Dr. Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay up to date.
Vijay's intro in this movie is far more classic & better than his previous movies. As a military man role, you could see Vijay's hard work in building his body at the introduction scene. The movie goes on pretty smooth and normal, accompanied by Vijay's funny relation with Kajal Agarwal. I felt that Vijay made the audience laugh more than what Satyan in this film.
The movie heats up when Jagadish (Vijay) catches a terrorist who bombs a public bus. Then he sets himself on the mission of capturing the entire terrorists gang behind this. Vidyut Jamwal, the villain of Thuppaki has a brilliant future. He has showed himself as a fearful villain of all time.
On his mission, there are various twists that happens. The way that Jagadish finds where her sister has been kidnapped was mind blowing. The climax also has a twist. We, all the audiences thought something was gonna happen but eventually, it didn't. The intermission scene of the Movie was the most "wow" factor in my opinion.
Now, all the songs were good. "Google Google", "Alaikala laika", & "Kutti puli" was the best of them. However, none of the songs had heavy steps for Vijay which indeed was a small disappointment for me.
And finally, I conclude my review by saying that this movie "Thuppaki" is going to help Vijay reach great heights. A great team work which we all can realize while watching the movie. This movie will be considered to be the best movie for Vijay up to date. I definitely recommend this movie for all.
