Varun, a chartered accountant, helps Anjana find work in his father's firm after he is smitten by her. Though Anjana is not interested in a relationship as she is trying to deal with a failed engagement, she falls for Varun's charms. It is at this point that Varun realizes Anjana is not the right person for him. The chemistry is very good in the Vemal-Lasini pair.

The movie then introduces us to the story of Gunasekhar (Cheran) and Mallika ( Muktha Banu), which engages us in terms of its intensity. This love story traces the life of Mallika, a physiotherapist, who falls in love with Guna, a social worker who helps with the rehabilitation of ex- convicts. This is the most mature relationship that the movie explores and works best, thanks to some sensible acting by Cheran and Muktha. The third story, between Harris and Divya, is probably the most modern story with both characters completely aware of what they want from the relationship. However, it is also in parts the most far-fetched of stories. Harris, a well-known swimmer, is training Divya to win a gold medal in the Olympics. However, he meets with an accident and becomes a quadriplegic. There is sizzling chemistry between Arjun and Surveen, and they come out with strong portrayals. The music by Yuvan Shankar Raja is the grace of 'Moondru Per Moondru Kadal'. The beautiful lyrics of songs such as 'Kadal endan kadal', 'Aaha kadal' and 'Mazhai mazhai' work wonders and keep you engaged in movie. Nice romantic Drama,Starts off slowly but ends in a high note.If you want to watch a real good romance movie with a story with in, go ahead and watch

I Love this Movie MPMK. 80-90% of the movie is true to what happen in real life and it's a great example that reality is love than life. Now I do need to talk about Bay's directing and in my opinion his over the top and excessive film making work in this movie because it needs an over the top director to tell an far-fetched but true story and the excessive film making works because the movie is about THREE person life and I can think of no one else to directed this movie then Bay, this is a movie that's so good that it's a career defining moment for him, but knowing what his next project is it's not going to last long. The movie is also constantly narrated by everyone and it works because they all had things to say about what's happening to the character at the time. The acting is great everyone did an amazing performance and it shows that actor's that I thought could only do action movies only but can also do romantic performance, if you couldn't tell who I'm talking about its Arjun, he did an amazing job in this movie as did everyone else.in conclusion I loved this movie and want to go and see it in theaters again, best film of 2013 so far.

Romantic Drama,

Nice Romantic Drama, starts off slowly but ends in a high note. if you want to watch a real good romance movie with a story with in, go ahead and watch.

The three couples in S.M. Vasanth's Moondru Per Moondru Kadal are Varun (Vemal) and Anjana (Lasini), Guna (Cheran) and Mallika (Muktha Bhanu), and Harris (Arjun) and Divya (Surveen Chawla) — and the film depicts their knotty love stories over three landscapes: the sea, the hills, and the flat terrains of a city.

Storyline: As the title says, three couples, three love stories.

Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja is grace of the film. Every song has its own unique flavour and is incredible.

The beautiful lyrics make them even more romantic, especially Kaadhal Endhan Kaadhal and Unakkaagave Uyir Vaazhgiren.

Nandini Srikar amazing vocals in Aaha Kaadhal Konji Pesudhe definitely deserves a special mention. The song Mazhai Mazhai has been picturised beautifully on a dashing Arjun and a young Surveen Chawla. MPMK definitely has songs you want to listen to over and over again.

Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal is a beautiful gift for music lovers...

Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal is a story about love featuring three couples, set in the backdrop of different landscapes, by the seaside, in the mountains and on the plains. Three lead pairs, a director making a return...

Yuvan himself saying this could be his best from recent times - all of these make us give special attention to the Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal album. A good collection of songs at the end of the year, almost appears as if it has been picked out of good songs. Yuvan Shankar Raja's music and background score is terrific with right mixture of melodies and fast numbers with 'Aaha Kadhal' and 'Mazhai Mazhai' being the pick of the lot.

All the lyrics have been nicely penned by Na. Muthukumar. The beautiful lyrics of songs such as 'Kadhal Endan Kadhal', 'Aaha Kadhal' and 'Mazhai Mazhai' work wonders and keep you engaged in movie.

The locations of each of their love stories vary from the Hills, the Seas and the Plain lands. The film covers three landscapes Kurinji (mountain), Marudham (agriculture fields) and Neidhal (area surrounding the sea) in a way that real lovers love to be there... What is that one thing that brings all of them together is the interesting part of the story.

The story is very good, good location, Pure love story, dance good,

* Background music is super... Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja is the only saving grace of an otherwise ordinary film.

Every song has its own unique flavour and is incredible.

Na.muthukumar Lyrics very good

The beautiful lyrics make them even more romantic, especially "Padapadakuthu Maname"

* Favorite song lyrics:

"Un Aruginil Naan Irunthathum Adada En Aruginil Nee Irunthathum Adada Ingu Udal Mattum Pirigindrathu Unthan Manam Ennul Vaazhgindrathu ".....

* I Like To the second couple :

Guna (Cheran) and Malliga (Muktha Bhanu) is set in a small town by the seaside. Guna is a social activist who runs an organisation that helps ex- convicts to start a new life. His dedication and sincerity for his work leaves him no time for love or marriage, thus shattering the dreams of poor Malliga who is in love with him.

* Comments: love story of the pain..

To start off, easily the pick of the lot would be Arjun & Surveen's part. Both of them cave in easily into their roles and some excellent casting with a feel of love. The actor's chemistry with Surveen Chawla works big time. Cheran and Muktha Banu's roles are good.

Vasanth is known for exploring the different facets of love through his films. In Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal, he has attempted to highlight the fact that sacrifice is greater than love. And love is all about giving.

Come and fall in love' invites the trailer of director Vasanth's 'Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal'. And watching it on the big screen, you do fall in love with the beautiful lyrics, the memorable songs and the breathtaking visuals. Every song has its own unique flavor and it is incredible. Aaha Kaadhal Konji Pesudhe- excellent song

The romantic film, which was released on 1 May, has received mixed reviews from film critics. The leading stars in the film include Arjun, Cheran and Vemal and they have been paired with Surveen Chawla, Muktha Bhanu and Lasini. Their stories have been set in three different landscapes - seashore, hilly region and the beautiful plains. The story starts in 2016 and goes back to 2012, with Vemal narrating incidents that occurred in the lives of the three couples throughout these years. The first couple's - Varun (Vemal) and Anjana (Lasini) - love story is set in a serene hill station. Varun is a chartered accountant who falls in love with Anjana, who in turn is in love with another person and is engaged. Of all the three leading heroes, Arjun gets a wonderful role and the actor has performed well. His chemistry with the new comer Survenn Chawla has won accolades. The other two couples aptly fit in their roles.

Memorable movie

The three couples in S.M. Vasanth's Moondru Per Moondru Kadal are Varun (Vemal) and Anjana (Lasini), Guna (Cheran) and Mallika (Muktha Bhanu), and Harris (Arjun) and Divya (Surveen Chawla) — and the film depicts their knotty love stories over three landscapes: the sea, the hills, and the flat terrains of a city. The film is nothing like the Tamil cinema we see today. The characters sip iced tea instead of loading up on sarakku. They play squash and use Macbooks.

And they're not just joke-spitting machines; the lines they speak — long monologues and dialogues, sometimes delivered to the camera — are actually about something. The director opts for a low-key approach, eschewing epiphanies in favour of small moments, slices of life. The non-linear narrative style isn't all that common either. We see something and then we learn what it's about, or we think one thing and it turns out to be what we never expected.
