The Dead Have It Easy isn't among the worst in the series
I just got around to see the eleventh Varg Veum film, The Dead Have It Easy, before the finale is released in the cinemas across Norway tomorrow. And I have to say, I did expect a little more of this film since the last Varg Veum film, At Night All Wolves Are Grey, was excellent.
The movie is about a seventeen year old applicant who is found dead in the water at the harbor, a burglary occurs at the headquarters of the city corps, an elite club that shape future social supports. Varg and his girlfriend, Karin, later finds out that these two cases are linked. Not only do they find out that the two cases are linked, they also find out that young women are being abused all around Bergen. Varg is now doing anything to make this stop.
The only problem with this is that it's easy to solve the case yourself before you've even finished the film. It has a few scenes with cheesy dialog, but don't worry, the plot is OK, and the film has a few intense sequences, such as when Varg gets pushed off an building and lands on top of a car. The last 30 minutes of the film is probably the most intense part, specially the ending. Varg Veum - The Dead Have It Easy, isn't among the worst in series, and it's worth a watch if you haven't seen it already!
