Storyline

Although Walter despises 'magic' shows, he accepts to track down illusionist Preston Miller's assistant Angelica Angel, who disappeared during the 'phoenix' escape act after the box accidentally burnt to cinders. Walter soon finds she staged it to steal, well switch with counterfeit bills, a fortune from the club's safe. Making clever use of clumsy FBI Agent Judy Green, Walter starts the chase for Angelica and at least one accomplice, soon found murdered as is found to be her sinister MO. Meanwhile it becomes clear that Timo isn't Willa's cousin but her unwilling arranged fiancé, who needs a fortune to buy his way out from their gypsy patriarch, so Willa tries to steal it from Walter. It's a Kind Of Magic
25 February 2012 | by (Portugal) – See all my reviews

In this episode of The Finder we see Walter searching for a magician's assistant, who disappeared in a performance gone wrong.

This was an OK episode with nothing to make it a very memorable experience.Walter is still using his finding mojo but not as good as I thought it would be in this installment. On the other hand i think this is mostly an episode about Willa and her background. We learn that she has an arranged marriage with Teemo, her gypsy cousin, but he wants out, since he fell in love with someone else and in order for the marriage to be cancelled he has to pay Uncle Shad (Head of The Family). Leo helps out and we see how much he cares about Willa.

Overall a 6/10
