Take a "philosophical" ride to nowhere.

The feeling of watching a series in which to bet on a popular figure like Lali, means saving the product. That already dries it for me. Production is valued but it is nothing more than a story of an intellectual arrogant who believes that having left the Orthodox Jewish community makes her someone special. An outsider, who wants to be in a permanent rush because she thinks that makes her someone deep. Not to mention that the attitude of the protagonist and her entire progressive and feminist world is at least a boring cliché, there is an overeffort to be "cool" a character too unorganic and Lali manages to give it a certain naturalness but it is not enough. Outstanding cast, especially you will see Spinetta and Llinas. Otherwise, it's the story of a narcissist who was dying to tell it. Very basic.

It falls short, but it's okay and surprisingly good at times

Being a Millennial man, there might be quite a few things that I got "lost in translation". But overall the series feels aimless, just a collection of situations and characters in an over-romantized Buenos Aires, that leaves you as clueless as you entered that world. Maybe there's a 2nd season already in the works but as a whole show it feels incomplete.

The actors and directors make it an enjoyable show, but completely forgettable. Lali is very good as the lead (and also a very good narrator, which is not very easy feat in Spanish) , Veronica Llinas (Tam's mother) is always a guaranteed good performance, the two "outsider" characters (the orthodox Jewish and the Bartender) are remarkable, and the rest is a little mixed. Especially the male characters, a little too stereotypical and shallow.

The pace of the story is ok, it could have been a couple of episodes shorter but the ending felt a little rushed. Maybe the fact that Lali is also a Pop Star made the production more difficult because of her schedule.

It's enjoyable, probably more so for young women in their 20s and 30s , and overall it's a good example of the quality of production that can be achieved in Latin America, Argentina in this particular case.

Had potential, messy delivery

I'm not sure what the show's attempt was, but whatever it intended got lost along the ride. The main character, played by Lali Espósito, is supposed to be this forward thinking, modern woman, or at least i'm assumig that's what the creators intended. The actual result was a woman that felt unfeeling, snobby and immature. Given that the entire plot revolves around her uderstanding of the world, you can imagine how everything else failed as well. The only saving grace is Lali herself, an actress with so much charisma she could at least make you not hate everything they've done with this product. There's an aspect about her past and judaism that's intresting but never fully explored.

Overall, it's a wacky show about wacky characters that you never fully empathize with nor feel towards, something that had potential but fell through in the midst of fancy language with no depth.

One of the best in 2022

This serie has something magical that makes you just keep watching till the end. I dont know what, just something of the chaos of the postmodern life...The cast is in an amazing perform but very especially Lali, Brenda Kreizerman, Mariana Genesio Pena y Veronica Llinás. I think that if it was in an english language country would probably be a worldwide hit. I really hope this serie could to pierce the latin-american bubble and reach all countries viewrs.

The soundtrack is perfect either. It will make you to travel through the chaotic and dirty night of Buenos Aires.

If you are LGBT, feminist or just rebel you cant miss the serie.

Don't get discourage by some of the bad reviews online! It was a very refreshing, honest and raw view of life nowadays. The performances were great specially Lali's since her character can sometimes be considered an antagonist. From casual conversations to thought provoking situations it was a great experience and super easy to watch. It definitely left me a some friends doing some introspection since some of the topics hit really close to home thanks to the wide variety of characters and backgrounds that plus it open the doors to a whole culture that most people are not really aware of.

Couldn't recommend it enough !
