Storyline

Lucas finds knocked-down Chris with a head wound and has a hard time convincing him to go to hospital, where he's reluctant to see his father and refuses to file a police complaint, even insists Rhys lets him discharge himself without waiting for the x-rays. He confides only into gay nurse Aidan Foster about his suspicions it must have have bigot Burrel. Told by Aidan, Lucas confronts the suspect, only to find he has a professional alibi. Malcolm can't talk Jade out of leaving town, but informs Dane, who helps Kyle track her down to the bus station, where they decide to give their relationship another go. Written by KGF Vissers

"Chris, he has to know what happened"
31 January 2012 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Much of this episode consists of Kyle running around trying to find Jade before she leaves.Whether you care about this depends on how much you like Jade and indeed how much you like the idea of her and Kyle as a couple.Certainly, Malcolm doesn't seem to deserve the punch in the face that Kyle gives him for no good reason. The only bright spark is Dane, who, freed from the burden of acting like a Kyle substitute, actually...well, actually makes a pretty good Kyle substitute, being indiscreet with Kate and scamming a taxi company.Jade staying without seeing Kyle is at least a sign of character development, even if it is a bit of a cliché.

Meanwhile, Lucas investigates the attack on Chris with a bit of help from Aidan, meeting Chris for the first time.Even though the budget is so bad that Rhys sees an emergency patient in his office, there's some nice interplay going on here.Unfortunately, obvious suspect Warren seems to be a bit of a red herring so it's probably all wasted.
