Storyline

Andrew is determined to get rid of his clown tattoo, but short of funds, so he asks Chris to sell another car, but that's refused as illegal without a $2,500 license they can't afford. Lucas now supports Chris's polite objections to rude customer Warren Burrell's verbal abuse. Rhys's mood has improved enough to treat Dane to a welcome dinner for Kyle, but grumpy Jade kills the mood even before Kyle discovers she cheated on him with Malcolm. Andrew congratulates incredulous Chris with apparent flirting from Warren's charming, apologetic, handsome son Blake. Sonya's green live Christmas tree with leafs is not to the boys' traditional taste. Written by KGF Vissers

"Jade, that's pretty messed up"
27 January 2012 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

The episode seemingly slams the door on the possibility of a romance between Chris and Blake by declaring Blake isn't gay, although that's not to stop Warren behaving aggressively.Natasha and Andrew's little cameo as they stumble across the pair playing pool is one of the best things in this episode.

Toadie and Sonya's plot line is a bit weird:Sonya's decision to present Toadie and Callum with a twig instead of a Christmas tree is so insane you're left waiting for a punchline that never comes, although she is at least convinced of her mistake eventually.

Rhys organises an impromptu Christmas dinner for his housemates which gives Kyle and Jade a chance to spend time together. But they still seem a bit of a forced pairing and it seems a bit late in the day to give Jade a traumatic past relationship to explain her behaviour.
