Lost Commandos see four commandos on a mission losing their sense of direction and purpose. This film directly references the Troubles in Northern Ireland but the theme is echoed in other places of conflict across the world. Getting lost on the streets of Belfast is a metaphor of how some people find it hard to move on from a state of conflict and war towards 'normalisation'. Lost Commandos is part of a music project called 'End of the War'. Where the film represents entrapment, End of the War offers resolution. Together they reflect on the many complexities of conflict.
