Thunderbolt mentions a Columbo episode where Leonard Nimoy plays a chef. Then he adds he could be confusing Nimoy with Martin Landau. He also says that Julie Newmar was in the episode. That is correct, but the actor was, in fact, Landau. The episode is called Double Shock (season 2).
The Thunderbolt is confused by Leonard Nimoy and Martin Landau. They both played killers on 'Columbo', but originally Martin Landau was going to play Spock on 'Star Trek', a role that later went to Nimoy. On the original 'Mission: Impossible', Landau was the IMF's master of disguise, and Nimoy later took on the position as the team's master of disguise.
Mention is made of JSA members, Charles McNider (Dr. Mid-Nite), Jay Garrick (The Flash) and Wesley Dodds (The Sandman). Coincidentally, this episode aired just a few weeks after Netflix's The Sandman (2022) was released, which is based on another DC character to bear that name.
