Storyline

The team's reputation is dented when Thomas Gage, a ruthless murderer whose identity proves totally faked, not only acts smug when arrested, but manages, as cryptically predicted, to escape and steal all evidence plus sensitive data from the NYPD computer. He's not only ahead of Castle and Becket to commit another murder, they are both abducted to a secret, deep CIA HQ, where Castle reconnects with Sophia Turner and their classified espionage past. The three team up and discover it's all about brilliant mathematical scientist Nelson Blakely, whose death was staged years ago. Written by KGF Vissers

Javier Esposito: So, neighbors heard a hellacious fight and then our victim here sailed out of that fourth floor window.
Kate Beckett: Was that his apartment?
Javier Esposito: We're checking, but it doesn't look like it. Tenants don't recognize him and he doesn't have any ID.
Lanie Parish: No ID, but lots of causes of death.
Richard Castle: You mean, other than gravity?
Lanie Parish: Oh yeah. See that bullet wound?
[Points]
Kate Beckett: So he was shot before he fell?
Lanie Parish: And stabbed.
Kate Beckett: Shot and stabbed?

Need to rethink
25 February 2012 | by (India) – See all my reviews

This episode starts with a Jason Bourne type kill or should we say "overkill", and yeas its one done by one of the Special Ops steel cold operative, love the way he (Kinda) ridicules Beckett and Castle in the interrogation room, and walks out of the front door???

Alexis internship is a nice twist to the tale,as she invades his territory.

It appears the duo got another missing dead body, the mystery thickens.

In comes Castle's old flame and CIA's gizmo's, from hereon throughout the episode Beckett and Castle seems to be bystanders.

Hope the second episode exercises the duo's intelligence a bit more...
