Two weeks following the events of Batman: Arkham City, several GCPD officers suddenly go missing. The culprit seems to be Harley Quinn, having escaped custody and undergone extreme mental stress following her recent loss. She has now taken over the industrial district of the old Arkham City site, which Batman infiltrates and ultimately gets himself captured so Robin will come to his rescue, and together, they can stop Harley and save the cops before the night is over. Why is this not the third game?
22 February 2014 | by (Valhalla) – See all my reviews

Okay, I got the Arkham City thing with Bonus Content which includes new challenges, the ability to replay Catwoman missions and this among others. It isn't a bad little spin-off game - for a fact for a game of this kind it actually is pretty good but... We would have waited for this if it was the third Arkham game.

The plot is that you play as Robin fighting through the Harley Quinn Steel Mill because she has planned to trap and kill Batman. Then in flashback we find Batman also fights his way in to rescue GCPD Officers only to be trapped by Harley and her guards. Robin frees the officers and has to fight Harley Quinn because she has the means to release Batman. After yo fight the almost endless guards in the same room as the trap that Batman's in, which is also a monument to The Joker.

This game is one you could complete in... A couple of hours maximum. Robin is okay to play as and I think after the ending to Arkham City this would be the logical step to go for the third entry, I just don't get it. I have played some of Arkham Origins and it clearly isn't the other 2.

So if you have a copy of this - I suggest you play it. The gameplay is fun - I mean it's exactly the same as a regular Arkham game and the story isn't bad. Anything else is pretty much the same as the other 2 games. I just didn't really like it as much because of the rather quick story and... this is a spin-off game? Really?
