We see the teenager named Jason from the hospital at a dance. He is striking out with a girl until he uses a power that seems similar to Nina's, and has dozens of kids in a zombie-like state doing his bidden. It seems to involve him touching the person he manipulates.
Kat has become a full member of the team. The team talks about Jason's case and then interviews two of the students who were at the dance. Both say they don't know Jason.
Harken gives Rose an update on the process of checking to see if anybody on the team is responsible for the leaks to Parish.
Looking at the brain activity of the two kids, Rosen thinks Jason's powers have been magnified. He's able to create a "hive mind" situation, controlling large amounts of people simultaneously.
Parish and Dani talk about her father. She's upset by how much she's had to risk, given that Rosen doesn't seem any closer to their side.
Rosen is unable to restore the normal brain activity of the two kids. Nina attempts to help and finds their brains muddled. They need to find Jason if there is any chance of breaking the connection.
Rosen finds Jason at his school. While he speaks with Rosen a flock of students begin following him in the hall. Rosen wants to run some tests, but Jason declines. Rosen says he's worried Jason might be hurting his friends and Jason gets a security guard to pull his gun on Rosen. Parish shows up and knocks the guard aside, telling Rosen "we should talk."
Parish tells Rosen he is partly to blame because he interrupted Jason's treatment. He wants Rosen to step in and save him and asks him to join him in the car to see some test results. Rosen declines, but Parish directs a threat at Dani and he quickly changes his mind.
We see Burton doing a TV interview. She begins acting very strangely and Nina is worried.
Parish shows Rosen the brain scan of Jason's mother. It is filed with hematomas and Rosen says she'll die if not brought quickly to the hospital. It seems that everybody "connected" to Jason will eventually die if the connection isn't broken.
Nina wants to show Burton's doctors a file with clues as to what it happening to her. The file doesn't have anything incriminating, but Rachel thinks it's a risk. She calls Rosen on the phone and doesn't like the way his voice sounds.
Parish says his goal was for Jason to wake from his coma with more control. Parish wants Nina to go into Jason's mind, thinking it won't be as dangerous because he can help her navigate. Rosen tells the team to begin looking for Jason.
Cut to Jason fooling around with a girl from his school. He has her begin to undress, then decides he wants her to actually want to be doing it. She doesn't and he seems bothered by the situation. Hicks, Harken and Rachel arrive at Jason's house. The first floor is filled with his "friends." Hicks tells Jason they're there to help him and he sounds okay with the idea. But outside Jason changes his mind and the kids under his control start to protect him. Jason runs and is eventually caught by Hicks and Gary. They throw him in a car and speed off.
Parish gives Nina advice as to how best to attack Jason's brain in order to break his control. Afterwards he's brought to a holding area by Hicks and Harken. On the way past Gary, Parish suggests that Rosen may have been part of the reason Anna was killed.
Rosen has picked up on the fact Parish was trying to recruit him. He realizes Jason was used as bait.

Parish uses his fake death to get the jump on two security guards and get out of his holding cell
Hicks and Harken let the kids into the facility in order to keep them from hurting themselves. Jason is missing and Rosen realizes Parish must be connected.
Rosen finds that Jason has brought Parish into his collective. To help him, Rosen asks that he be brought in as well. Jason's collective looks like the dance. Parish is taking people away from Jason and bringing them under his control. Rosen manages to convince Jason to set everybody free. During this process Rosen and Parish look arms and Rosen gets a window into Parish thoughts.
The kids are set free. Rosen wakes up and helps Jason to his feet. Parish is gone.
Nina and Rachel seems to be connecting again as friends. Nina is going to take her file to Burton's doctor.
