Somebody behind the scenes here is a fan of Brazilian music, and getting even further exotic, we have to listen to Portuguese lyrics. Okay, no reason for complaint. The song's beautiful enough. But still...
I agree with Ben's skepticism about the complicated set-up, why would the all-powerful guy have to resort to fake drug charges against Claudia in the U.S.A.? Surely he would have done it 'in his own back yard' neutralizing her much more to his own standards? A plot McGuffin only. A plot-hole that they singled out themselves.
This episode delivers one of the best Kate Reed lines, her response to the nasty flunky's predictably nasty response, "Screw you!" with that cocky "Not enough booze in the world!" Anybody else noticed that the guy looked distinctly like George Bush?
Next episode we'll see how the choice of romantic partner goes. My vote goes to Justin.
