They Are Not Saints technically the last episode of the reboot of Charlie's Angels. It wasn't even aired in the United States.During their day off,Kate,Eve and Abby saw an unconscious man on the beach. After Eve gives him a mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and send him to the hospital, they later find out that he suffers from amnesia and is a member of the LAPD.An attempt was apparently made into his life by a Chinese gangster and they try to protect him.Eve likes the guy which makes Bosley extremely jealous as he obviously likes her a lot in secret.
As for the episode review, too bad that we will not be able to see a possible romance between Bosley and Eve.Also,as to whether the man who was called Hugo would be the love interest of Eve.Or better yet,a love triangle.Everything will be left to the imagination of the viewer unless somebody picks up the show wherein there is very little possibility as it has been almost 4 years now(as this review is being written) and no one has done so.
As for the show, there are many reasons why it got canceled. As I have been saying in the reviews of the episode and on the show,it relied too much on glamour. TV executives thought that beautiful women and a reboot of a popular show are enough reasons to put a show on air.We later realize that those reasons aren't enough to do so.We need great talent, good writing and the ability to bring joy and entertainment. The pilot episode wasn't compelling enough to bring back the viewers as well. Finally, the show also tried to emulate the Charlie's Angels franchise movie instead of the classic TV series which was also a mistake as the viewers were expecting of more of the latter instead of the former.
