Storyline
A maverick group of fighters compete for top honors in the most dangerous competition in history. Far from the contrivances of the Renaissance Fair, this is authentic, full-contact jousting, with two competitors on horses charging towards each other at 30 miles an hour. Gone is the traditional armor, replaced by state-of-the-art protective gear. Each week's episode features full-contact trials and preparations that will ultimately determine the champion-king of the joust. Written by

The thundering hooves of the mighty steeds as they race towards one another. Passing eye to eye the knights compete. You would almost think that you were witness to a piece of history. In a way, you are. Jousting is so much more than just another sport or a competition. It's just you in your armor, complete trust in your mount, and a craving to become champion. Watching this show, to me is like being witness to the bravest and probably also the craziest competition in the world. This is REAL. These knights have spent many long years training for the battles. Every single time I watch this, I wish I could be there personally to have the full experience. The Ren Faire jousters are some awesome actors, but NOTHING could ever compare to what excitement Full Metal Jousting has given to countless fans. I do however wonder if the world has ever seen female jousters?? I would sign up for training immediately. :-)
