More enjoyable than the surprisingly mediocre first episode.
The auditions continue and within minutes I was Not a happy camper (this had far less to do with the show itself, but rather a long weather warning on Fox's local Philly affiliate that drowned out almost all of the first contestant) Onto the episode proper, I enjoyed it more than the previous episode. I really took a shine to Mike almost immediately and I believe he'll make it far. The 'kookier' contestants were amusing. And from the looks of it there seems to be no 'Tommy' type this year so fingers crossed and knock on wood that that doesn't change. Also the last part of the episode brought a tear to my eye, I'm not going to lie.
My Grade: B
