Set at the turn of the century in a rural American town, a young man by the name of Vincent carries out his life. Vincent's father Robert is a tough-love, all work no play man believing that a good days hard work will truly set his son straight. Vincent resents his lower class standing as he rebels against his father. His life takes a turn for the worse when family friend Sheriff James accuses Vincent for a crime he did not commit. Desperately trying to find the truth, Vincent ends up in the hands of the law. He begins to lose his composure as the film nears its tragic end. His story is summed up through a letter that he writes to his mother, which in turn is the voice over that plays throughout the film. Forgive Me Father is not only a test of morals and individual strengths; it depicts the inner turmoil that each character has to face within themselves. Written by Anonymous
