While I have to confess that I'm not very familiar with the "Diablo" franchise of video-games, I found "Wrath" to be a neat short animation, with an epic story (Which is convincingly told in less than seven minutes of length) stylish designs and very cool characters. It was directed by Peter Chung, the creator of the excellent animated series "Æon Flux".
I usually don't like movies and television shows about angels, but this was simply awesome.
This short is enough proof to convince me that an animated movie inspired in the "Diablo" video-games would be something amazing.
