This series started off as these stand alone little webisodes about a the Step-Father/Step-Son dynamic, but has evolved into a much more involving series about this hapless, jerk (Herb) dealing with yet ANOTHER broken marriage, the return of estranged sons we never knew he had, and at the end of last season a bastard son that shows up out of nowhere! Long live soap opera, and this weird, wonderful show! Now, truth be told I wish it had a REAL BUDGET, cuz production value wise, it ain't network quality (not even a cable network), BUT for a show that is essentially talking heads from week to week, with no car chases, no exploding buildings, and no gratuitous sex... It manages to keep your interest and touch on some stuff that might even be a touch relevant!
