Storyline

Cambodia receives more than a billion dollars in foreign aid annually from a host of countries like the United States and China. Where exactly does all this aid go? More than 1,000 NGO's work in Cambodia to aid the poor; although, this humanitarian effort is described as'one step forward, twenty steps back'. It is widely known that trafficking of women and children is protected or backed by police. Government corruption is rampant. Government backed forced eviction of the poor is out of control. The Trap of Saving Cambodia follows one NGO leader who is rallying a cry for world leaders to wake up. Written by Anonymous
