Thoughtful, well acted and solid film - recommend!
Just watched Solace (2013) and felt I had to leave a review to recommend this film. It is thoughtful, moving, well acted and I love the fact that it is simply constructed through three acts with depth of development through the characters rather than through cinematic trickery.
In an age of high speed chases, spectacular plots or the big screen star turn (and cgi enhancements), this film shows how good cinema and good film can reach out and make you think leaving you with an experience that was worth sharing!!! I would say that the plot was a bit predictable but is simply not as important as the dialogue and construction of the film which leave a lasting memory. I will be recommending this in work tomorrow!!!!!
