I viewed "Foodie" at the Friar's Club Comedy Film Festival recently and had one of those rare and delightful moments where the laughter was so uncontrollable I ended up in tears. There were several good films at the festival, but this was the one film that had every guest rolling. While other films had higher production values, they did not provide the type of laughter I demand when I choose to watch a comedy. What's even more impressive is that the budget for "Foodie" was minimal. The scriptwriting for "Foodie" proves that comedic content trumps all. This film is ridiculous, quirky, and hilarious. I can't wait to see it again!
