"Arrested Development" Flight of the Phoenix (TV Episode 2013) Poster

When Michael is passing through the Phoenix airport, a mural behind him depicts highlights from the entire series.
In the episode Michael repeatedly tells George-Michael that his calendar on his phone is stuck in 2003. This is a reference to when the first season of Arrested Development aired in 2003.
The upcoming fourth season of the show that will precede the film is to be distributed by Netflix, after a bidding war that included other companies such as Hulu.
The opening "Cinco de Cuatro" scenes that supposedly take place in Newport Beach were actually filmed in Long Beach, California. Tequila Jack's (a bar/restaurant located in Shorline Village) and the lighthouse are visible in the background.
