The title is the same as a 2004 book on English punctuation by Lynne Truss (subtitled, "The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation"), which notes the difference between "Eats Shoots and Leaves" (a description of pandas) and "Eats, Shoots, and Leaves", a description of an armed robbery at a restaurant.
