Storyline

Peter Barrett, a 20-something dilettante, dreams of putting his 'creative pursuits' on the Internet. After getting a new high-definition camera, Peter believes hundreds of new viewers are well-within grasp. But he and his videographer friend Judy settle for the built-in webcam in Peter's laptop when they can't figure out how to use the new camera. Undeterred, Peter sets out to film a brand new slate of 'creative video' programming, including cooking videos (grilled cheese is his specialty), guitar tutorial sessions (no one else documents the learning process), and video game walkthroughs (during which he learns to play the game). After a week of footage, Peter decides to broaden his online presence by reaching out to Matthew Saginoff, known only to Peter as YouTube user 'SaginMeOff'. But Matthew, a seemingly kindred online presence, quickly reveals his true colors when he lambastes Peter's video posts as worthless and inane.
