Storyline

The time is New Year's Eve, 1929 and the place is the New York City apartment of a wealthy real-estate man who is expecting a young lady to dine with him. When she does not appear, he goes to the street and invites a down-and-out street person to share the meal with him. The diner tells how a woman brought him to his present poverty state. The invited lady shows up and she is the woman the diner was talking about. Written by Les Adams <longhorn1939@suddenlink.net>
