Monique van de Ven,
This is a 22-minute feature from the Blue Underground Special Edition of Lucio Fulci's ZOMBIE. Ian McCulloch, Richard Johnson, Al Cliver and Ottaviano Dell'Acqua (the worm-face zombie) all appeared in Cleveland, Ohio at the Cinema Wasteland event that was celebrating the film's 30th anniversary. This featurette shows us some clips of the actual event, interviews with fans and we also get the four cast members sitting down for an interview. I thought the way the feature was put together was extremely well- done and I liked how they mixed up the interviews with the footage from the event. The most interesting aspect of the interviews are the comments of McCulloch who clearly isn't all that impressed with the film and has some rather harsh but honest things to say about Fulci. There's a lot of talk about Fulci being a bully and especially towards women. Johnson shares a few thoughts on why the film is so popular and it's clear that Cliver appreciates all the praise he receives from fans. The four men are all very entertaining here and it's clear that all of them enjoy that so many people get a kick out of the film and still want to see it today. At just 22-minutes there's nothing here that's of great detail but fans will certainly enjoy seeing the cast members all these years later.
