E4 has ordered two new comedy dramas, both with a sci-fi twist.
The Inbetweeners actor Blake Harrison will play lead character Danny in parallel universe series Tripped.
The four-part series will follow Danny and stoner friend Milo (George Webster) as they trip through alternate worlds, meeting different versions of themselves.
Tripped has been adapted from an E4 pilot titled Alt, written by Doctor Who's Jamie Mathieson.
Mathieson remains as co-creator and co-writer of episode one, while The Missing writing duo Harry and Jack Williams take over scripting duties for the remainder of the series.
Blake Harrison said: "I'm really excited to be working on Tripped. It's always frustrating when good actors make me look bad but on this show I get to have a lot of scenes with myself so I should look alright!
"Also they've let me have a sword so if anyone brings me a cold steak,...

Tool Academy will not be returning.
The E4 show, presented by Rick Edwards, saw wayward boyfriends be brought up to scratch by their long-suffering girlfriends, and ran for three series.
In an interview with Heat magazine, Edwards said it was a "shame" the programme would not be coming back.
"I find myself getting asking the same things quite a lot in my day-to-day life," he explained. "These are, 'Is Tool Academy coming back?' No, it isn't, shame."
Edwards added that he also gets asked if he is friends with the cast of Made in Chelsea - for which he presents the spin-off End of Season Party - and that people will just shout 'T4' at him.
Tool Academy was described as a "relationship boot camp" and saw girlfriends secretly enrolling their boyfriends for the programme.
After tackling tasks that tested their commitment and romance, the 'tools' were...

Rick Edwards has said that his worst interview was with Kirstie Allsopp.
The former Tool Academy host said that he was forced to apologise to the Location, Location, Location presenter following the interview.
When asked by Heat magazine what his worst interview was, the 35-year-old replied: "There was one that was just awful - Kirstie Allsopp."
Asked why, Edwards said: "Actually, I don't think I can say. What I can tell you is I had to text her to apologise, against my wishes.
"But, because I'm polite, I did it. But she never texted back. I didn't really mind texting her, but I think not texting back, even just to say, 'I received your text, thank you', is just rude."
Last year, Edwards reacted to a story in which Allsopp said that young women should have a baby by the age of 27 and shouldn't go to university with the reply: "Prick.

'Tool Academy' looks set to be axed. Rick Edwards, who hosts the E4 reality show - which sees 12 unsuspecting bad boys sent to a relationship boot camp - has revealed it is ''unlikely'' the programme will return for a third series, but he thinks there are plenty of potential candidates around for another successful season. He said: ''It's looking unlikely, which is a shame because, whilst I'm biased, I do think it's a good, funny show. And exactly the kind of original show that E4 should be doing. ''Also, it's the thing that people always ask me about. There...
