I've now watched this episode several times (which I never do with sitcoms) and am convinced that it is the most literate, well-crafted sitcom script I've seen in years. Whoever wrote this thing should be proud of his or her skills. I'm a writer by trade and am not easily impressed. Kudos, Tim Allen, producer, and others. If all laugh-track sitcoms could bring this kind of satisfaction, I would be a much bigger fan of T.V. viewing. Allen's skills have matured as some of us hoped they would. Nancy Travis is great. The song the girls sang was raucously inspired. I hope the neighbors, Rebecca and Charlie, revisit. Hector Alizondo is a consummate pro. I'm finally learning to like the girls...a lot.
