Trivia

Young Steve says that he is in his junior year, which would have made him 15-16 years old at the time of the flashback (1992). This is consistent with the age of Alex O'Loughlin, born August 24, 1976, meaning that he was 15-16 in 1992, and that would make Steve McGarrett 35-36 for episodes in 2012. See more »

Quotes

Steve McGarrett: We've uh, we've sprung Sang Min before to help with a case.
Lori Weston: Yeah? How'd that go?
Steve McGarrett: Well, he escaped custody and uh, he went on the lam for a few months. But we - we recaptured him.
Kono Kalakaua: Uh, technically, he surrendered himself.

The smuggling caper was so obvious. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to determine that the second trucker had something to do with the robbery. Unfortunately, the guy behind the wheel paid the ultimate price.

The episode dealt with smugglers bringing in chips which could authenticate passports. In the heads of terrorists, this could prove an extremely dangerous situation. Naturally, Homeland Security was immediately notified of the pending threat.

How nice that Dano spends this entire episode at the hospital when his former wife goes into labor. I loved when the guy at the nursery said that the baby has his nose. No wonder Dano can say emphatically no to that one. Of course, it shows that Dano still has feelings for his ex-wife just by being there with her.
