Trivia

Young Steve says that he is in his junior year, which would have made him 15-16 years old at the time of the flashback (1992). This is consistent with the age of Alex O'Loughlin, born August 24, 1976, meaning that he was 15-16 in 1992, and that would make Steve McGarrett 35-36 for episodes in 2012. See more »

Quotes

Steve McGarrett: Yeah, but you know who hired you. Listen to me, you lead us to them, we work out what was in the package and maybe figure out who else would've wanted it. Get it?
Lee Dolan: Yeah, but there's one problem with that. I only dealt with one guy.
Steve McGarrett: Yeah? Who was the guy?
[Lee indicates the dead guy behind him]
Steve McGarrett: That's the guy?
Danny 'Danno' Williams: That is a problem.
[Danny's phone rings]
Danny 'Danno' Williams: This day keeps getting better and better.
[Danny answers his phone]
Danny 'Danno' Williams: Hello Rachel.

The smuggling caper was so obvious. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to determine that the second trucker had something to do with the robbery. Unfortunately, the guy behind the wheel paid the ultimate price.

The episode dealt with smugglers bringing in chips which could authenticate passports. In the heads of terrorists, this could prove an extremely dangerous situation. Naturally, Homeland Security was immediately notified of the pending threat.

How nice that Dano spends this entire episode at the hospital when his former wife goes into labor. I loved when the guy at the nursery said that the baby has his nose. No wonder Dano can say emphatically no to that one. Of course, it shows that Dano still has feelings for his ex-wife just by being there with her.
