Witness this thief's impressive skills

To me, 'Apple Thief' is where everything about "Adventure Time" just comes together in terrific harmony. The story is all kinds of silly and I find myself laughing with surprising regularity. The case of the missing apples leads Finn, Jake and Tree Trunks to the dark side of the Candy Kingdom (a wretched hive of scum and villainy, 'natch); herein are all of the saloons, distrusting barkeeps and ne'er-do-wells you can imagine. The jokes feel obvious but work perfectly and this works pretty well as a noirish whodunnit. Above all, it ably showcases the show's oddball sense of humor.

In other words, if asked why I love "Adventure Time" so damn much, this is one of the episodes I'd point to.
