‘The Inevitable Defeat Of Mister And Pete’ Gets A Trailer & Poster

Here’s the first trailer and poster for independent film The Inevitable Defeat Of Mister And Pete. Judging by the title we’re looking at a bit of a tragedy here, but already this trailer has me rooting for success. The film sees two young boys forced to survive on their own in the Brooklyn projects after the arrest of Mister’s mother. The film is lead by two newcomers, Skylan Brooks and Ethan Dioz, who are supported by a great cast. It looks like it could be an indie gem, but the two boys have a lot of weight to carry on their shoulders. An inner-city look at friendship and loyalty? Could be interesting.

The Inevitable Defeat Of Mister And Pete will receive a limited Us release on 11th October. It stars Skylan Brooks, Ethan Dioz, Jeffrey Wright, Jennifer Hudson, ANthony Mackie, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Jordin Sparks.

Catch new photos from The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete, starring Skylan Brooks, Ethan Dizon, Anthony Mackie, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jennifer Hudson, Jeffrey Wright, Jordin Sparks, Julito McCullum and Adam Trese. Admitedly, I'd never heard of this one, which is quite surprising considering the intriguing title. George Tillman Jr. is quite picky about his projects, having just 6 times at the helm from 1995 until now. So you know, this project must have attracted him very strongly. He's known for films like strong films like Soul Food, Men of Honor, Notorious and Faster, and now directs from the script by Michael Starrbury.
