Yo Yo Honey Singh to compose promotional song for Ajay Devgns Singham Returns

just now | BollywoodHungama | See recent BollywoodHungama news »

Currently trending on chartbusters is Yo Yo Honey Singh and the rapper surely seems to have come a long way since his 'Angrezi Weed' (Cocktail) days. After the success of 'Chaar Bottle Vodka', 'Party With the Bhoothnath' and many others, this time around Honey Singh will be doing a song for director Rohit Shetty. While the two previously created the famous 'Lungi Dance' last year in Chennai Express, we believe that the magic will be revived in Singham Returns. The song in question is a promotional song for the film which will feature the film's leads Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor. Though Yo Yo Honey Singh has worked with Ajay before in Son of Sardar ('Po Po'), this will be the first time he will be teaming up with Kareena Kapoor. Also, Yo Yo Honey Singh will be seen mouthing the famous Singham dialogue, 'Aata Majhi Satakli' from the film franchise. »

See Ranveer Singh in Finding Fanny!

13 July 2014 7:18 PM, PDT | Bollyspice | See recent Bollyspice news »

Well, if we didn’t know that Ranveer Singh had posted this picture himself we would not have guessed that this was him! Check out his look in Finding Fanny!

Ranveer plays Deepika Padukone’s husband, well 15 minute husband since he choked on the day of their wedding. His look certainly fits in with the wacky characters that make up the world of Homi Adajania’s Finding Fanny. The film narrates the story of 5 odd balls played by Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Dimple Kapadia, Naseeruddin Shah and Pankaj Kapur; who set out on a road trip to find love.

About the cast of the quirky film, Homi said “Love makes normal people do nutty things. But what if they were already a little nutty to begin with? Deepika and Arjun Kapoor signed onto the film before Chennai Express and 2 States had released and didn’t waiver because they had the same conviction. »

Homi Adajania’s much anticipated quirky comedy Finding Fanny’s trailer is out! The film narrates the story of 5 odd balls played by Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Dimple Kapadia, Naseeruddin Shah and Pankaj Kapur; who set out on a road trip to find love.

Talking about his five dysfunctinal characters in the film Homi Adajania says, “Love makes normal people do nutty things. But what if they were already a little nutty to begin with? I absolutely love this film. My producer, Dinesh Vijan, knew I would drive him insane and went out on a limb to back me. Deepika and Arjun Kapoor signed onto the film before Chennai Express and Two States had released and didn’t waiver because they had the same conviction. I couldn’t make the film without Naseer because his character was written for him. As for Dimple, if I make a film without her »

Shah Rukh Khan wishes Ajay Devgn all the best

8 July 2014 11:48 AM, PDT | BollywoodHungama | See recent BollywoodHungama news »

Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn have always had a troubled friendship; but it was during the release of the late Yash Chopra's Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardaar that matters came to a flash point with both films slated for release on the same day. However, now that seems to be a story from the past with Srk's latest tweet wishing Devgn all the luck for his forthcoming release Singham Returns.

Posting on twitter Srk said, "Want to wish Rohit Shetty & Ajay Devgun & their whole team of Singham2 the best of luck. May u entertain us as u have been doing for yrs".

Interestingly, this will be Rohit Shetty's first release after his success last year with Chennai Express that featured Srk top- lining the cast.

Singham Returns, whose posters were recently released also features Kareena Kapoor and is slated for release »

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7: Vidya Balan as Bobby Jasoos and 6 new wild card entries!

7 July 2014 6:22 PM, PDT | Bollyspice | See recent Bollyspice news »

Saturday’s episode opened with hosts Manish and Ranvir sitting in a Sholay style motorbike singing ‘Ye Dosti, Hum Nahin Todenge’ from the film Sholay. The song ended and contestant Mouni proved to be a “distraction” for the boys and the audience were led to thinking they have had an accident. The next scene had two coffins and the judges and contestants were crying as if the hosts Manish and Ranvir are no more. But of course, they both turned up (much to the “disappointment of the judges/contestants!) and the show began as normal. Thankfully!

The first contestant who was safe from eliminations, was Sophie. It was great to see her out of the face-off and being the first contestant to perform on the show. Sophie and her choreographer Deepak, performed an aerial act and their chosen dance style was Aerial and Freestyle. Before Sophie’s act began, we »

There once was a time when a new Salman Khan movie was a thing to get excited for. Unfortunately, Sallu has been out of the limelight for a little while and his last foray into the world of Bollywood blockbusters, Jai Ho, was roundly beaten by critics, though embraced by fans. This time around, Salman is back in the saddle, taking his more comfortable seat as the king of Eid openings with Kick, a remake of a 2009 Telugu film starring Tollywood's action comedy hero, Ravi Teja. With Salman out of the running for last year's Eid, the holiday was ceded to Rohit Shetty and Shah Rukh Khan's ode to, well, Shah Rukh Khan, Chennai Express. This year, Salman looks to retake the crown he held...

Journey of a film is incomplete till theatrical release: Filmistaan director Nitin Kakkar

A National Award for Best Hindi Feature Film, special jury mention at Busan International Film Festival, Best Debut Director at International Film Festival of Kerala and a couple of other awards later; Nitin Kakkar was still in the dark over Filmistaan’s chances of making it to the theatres. He typified the Indian independent filmmaker who is the toast of festivals but gets a cold shoulder from biggies of the distribution game unless a bigger benefactor comes along.

Kakkar’s hard work is finally paying off. Almost two years after its world premiere at Busan, Filmistaan, acquired by Shringar Films and subsequently by Utv, is releasing on June 6 with more than 450 prints.

Featuring explosive performances by Sharib Hashmi and Inaamulhaq, the film is a funny and entertaining take on Indo-Pak relationship hinged on their shared love for Bollywood.
