Storyline

Powerful and provoking, Escape From Capture is a masterpiece. It is a fiery piece that uncovers pertinent information left out of history books. Writer/director Atif Lanier of HarMageddo Entertainment has incorporated truth and history into this revelatory piece. It is entertainment and a history lesson rolled into one, which speaks of the plight of African slaves and mental slavery that exists in Black America today. Lanier attests that all slaves were not passive and this idea is greatly affected through the character Jemmy Imagine being a free black man in America in 1850 then being tricked into slavery. What emotions would you feel? What would you do? Naturally, Jemmy hungered for freedom, but this time would be different.
