Storyline

After Nolan withdraws his investment trough Tyler and refuses to be coaxed, Emily steals Nolan's sex video and sends it to Conrad, so the intruder would be fired as blackmailer, but Tyler saves his job with his own blackmail memory stick copies. Charlotte moves out just to be rid of Victoria, without hooking up with Declan yet. Nolan prevents Lydia's exposing speech being made public by Tyler, but is disgusted by verbally abusive Emily's ingratitude and cancels their pact as it no longer corresponds to the late father Clark's wishes. Victoria hires lawyer Ryan Huntley, who wrecked David, for her divorce from Conrad and promises to spare nothing and nobody. Taking pity on his 'lonely' mother, Daniel moves back in for a while after the police finds Frank's cellphone on the estate. Satoshi Takeda also drops his support to Amanda, warning her infatuation for Daniel is incompatible with her already desperate revenge project. Written by KGF Vissers

Goofs

When Daniel is about to enter the South Fork Inn restaurant (22 min, 24 sec mark) to meet Mr Grayson a couple walks into the same part of the restaurant in front of him. The female has a green dress and the male has a lavender colored shirt. The couple walk in, then turn to the right just as Daniel enters the shot and Mr Grayson says, "Son" The shot then cuts to Daniel actually walking in through the doors and the same couple are now walking in BEHIND Daniel. Emily Alyn Lind
8 March 2017 | by (South Africa) – See all my reviews

In my review for the previous episode, I opined that this show remains in need of something that will give it that special zing. As usual, The Raven is quick to point something like that out, but I must admit, I myself can't ever, or almost ever, think of just exactly what is needed.

Watching "Loyalty" this afternoon, at least with REVENGE, I have found this: The character that is sure to bring a response from me, is little Emily, beautifully played by namesake Emily Alyn Lind. In this episode, she appears for, I think, less than a minute. But it is the most emotional scene. Truly heart-rendering, in fact, as she says goodbye to the last she has left, the dog. I'm not knocking Emily VanCamp, she is masterful as the Lady of Vengeance, but my heart really goes out to little Emily.

Of course, being a child, she is used sparingly, she is a back-flash character. But every time she is on screen, the shares of REVENGE rise with me.

(it's actually not my fault that the above sentences are so confusing, the three Emilys in question, two actresses, and a character, are quite confusing on the written page)
