Just a quick and generic review so as not to reveal any specific spoilers. Season 1 of Chuck easily the best season and still feeling shafted in missing out on ten or so eps as it was initially commissioned for a full list season. Season 2, not as good as 1, but still high quality and very enjoyable season. Also seasons 3 & 4 were good, not as good as 1 & 2 but good. This long winded introduction to the series final episode review serves a point. The point being the first four seasons of Chuck were good to great and remained true too the whole 'Chuck' concept in one form or another, but season 5 in no way does. From go to woe season 5 has been absolutely terrible in every way, leaving me to wonder if the writers have been "phoning it in". This all leads to this last episode and without revealing any detail, put simply it just sucks! Not surprising reading reviews before watching it I had to force myself to watch this series finale, simply cause I'd watched it from the beginning & had to finish it off and boy I was disappointed and wishing too myself that Chuck had ended last season. My advice too every Chuck fan is too buy yourself seasons 1-4 on DVD and enjoy watching good to great quality episodes of Chuck & wipe your minds clear of season 5 (maybe we can find someone to help us with that kinda memory loss?)
