Good intent, wrong execution

The first hour of the series finale was abysmal. The dysfunctional Intersect essentially reverted Sarah to her old ways, life before Chuck. Fine, we get to see Chuck's anguish and suffer with him having followed their on and off relationship throughout the years. The setup was all wrong though. Sarah is fooled by Quinn far too easily. Sarah might have been cold and calculated before Chuck, but not stupid. For me the first hour was just a big letdown.

The second hour was far superior than the first hour. Having moved away from Quinn's deceit, the episode was dedicated to Sarah rediscovering her feelings and memories with Chuck. The scenes were old moments from the Chuck series were revisited was a very nice touch for a longtime viewer and fan of the Sarah/Chuck. The overall tone of the series finale was lost compared to the glory days of Chuck. Just re-watch the Pilot episode and everything that was wrong about the series finale will be obvious. My favorite moment of the finale was Jeffster's Take On Me. Favorite Chuck and Sarah moment? The ambiguous ending.
