Sex & Nudity

  • The most sexual part of the episode is when the life cycle of Rigelians is explained, then shown. Each birth is followed by the babies giving birth a second later. This is actually shown for about 5 seconds, and can be disturbing to those grossed out about birth. No nudity is shown. It's not even confirmed if the females have vaginas, but it is confirmed that the males have 700 testicles (E.T. Go Home, Treehouse of Horror XVIII (18), season 19 episode 5).

Violence & Gore

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • At the end of the Rigelian life cycle, the dead aliens go over a waterfall made of their own saliva. The alien who plays Amazing Grace on his living bagpipe tells him to take 5. He then proceeds to smoke a cigarette. He makes discordant notes as he smokes. Meant both as a joke and to show the effects of smoking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • Two mild sex jokes. The vegan aliens call the kids and Marge, "spermlings and sex mate." Also, the queen's one regret before she dies (after she eats Homer's anus, which happens to be poisoned by all his junk food consumption) is that her breasts weren't bigger. Bart then replies, "I don't see any breasts." She then remarks that those will be, "the last words (she) will ever hear." All played for laughs, but the latter will probably get more laughter.

Violence & Gore

  • The queen eats part of Homer's anus, but then she gets poisoned by all the junk food he eats and dies. They then spare the family and let them leave. Homer is okay, though.
