Sex & Nudity: 9/10

A group of men run up to a girl in the movie's opening scene, and tear her shirt off; her breasts can clearly be seen. This clip is quickly played on repeat over the end credits.

Throughout the movie, there is a spliced together scene of a man and his girlfriend about to have sex. They kiss and strip down to their underwear and the woman's breasts are shown. Before they go any further, the girl notices the camera.

A man jokingly yells at a girl to snort a drug "up [her] snatch."

A man begins passionately kissing an unconscious girl, he stops when he realizes she is not conscious.

A girl is stripped completely nude, her breasts and vaginal area are shown in full view. A man takes his shirt off and starts kissing her. She gets on top of the man and they are seen kissing, groping, moaning and thrusting forward with each other. The man touches her erect nipples and another man takes his clothes off and walks over (presumed he is going to join for a threesome). We see his bare butt and chest, and later in the scene, his penis. The cameraman unzips his pants and takes them off but runs off to the bathroom in a panic.

A man nags a woman to make a sex tape with him, but this never gets followed through with.

Someone holding a camera pulls off the sheets where a woman is sleeping. Part of her butt, in a thong, is shown.

Two women are shown in a bathroom, kissing. One of the women is just in her bra.

A man says, "I'd fuck me", and asks his male friend if he would have sex with him, to which he responds "probably."

A man takes his clothes off and dives into a lake, his buttocks and chest are shown..

A man is on webcam to two woman at different times, both times the man and the woman take of their bra, with close ups showing her breasts.

The first short, "Amateur's Night", is the most explicit in sexuality and nudity.

A man flips through various nude pictures on his phone. A woman's ginormous breasts are briefly shown.

A woman asks a man if he wants to "fuck" her.

A segment includes a man continually removing human/alien hybrid fetuses from a woman.

Violence & Gore: 9/10

There is graphic violence and gore throughout this film, it's not frequent but when it happens it's disturbing and brutal.

Vandalism scenes and assaulting a woman.

Amateur Night:

A possessed woman attacks men, tears off the hand off one, drinking the blood of another before vomiting it back out on him, then tearing off his penis and testicles.

A man graphically breaks his wrist.

2nd honeymoon:

Man is stabbed to the throat and he asphyxiates (graphic).

Tuesday the 17th:

A woman gets a sharp object/knife driven into the back of her head and her eye pops out.

A man's throat is sliced.

A woman's head is bludgeoned with a camera and her forehead starts to bleed. The masked character then carves a hole in her stomach and removes her intestines. This is shown mostly off-screen but when it happens it's nasty looking. Her body twitches.

A woman cuts a hole in her arm and pokes it with a barbeque fork and tweezers.

A man slices a woman's abdomen open and pulls out an alien fetus.


A woman is threatened to be sacrificed during a cult ritual and is assaulted.

A decapitated man is seen lying on the floor with his head rolling at his feet.

A car with 4 men is hit by a train.

Several men are pulled through a ceiling by apparent ghosts.

Profanity: 10/10

Strong language throughout includes over 150 uses of "fuck," Including words like "motherfucker," ,"pussy" "shit," "tits," "hell," "goddamn," "Jesus" (as an exclamation), "ass," and more.

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: 7/10

In one of the segments, a group of young men and women gets seriously drunk and also briefly snorts some cocaine.

In another segment, young people smoke pot.

Frightening/Intense Scenes: 10/10

V/H/S is, in no way whatsoever, for young children.

It is gory, violent, creepy, and intense.

Many "jump" scares.
