The Psychiatrist's office and Patrick Phoenix's art studio were actually the same room. It was a photo studio with movable walls, used for more than one scene to save time.
While telling the synopsis of the movie to friends and family, everyone would say "oh like the movie Groundhog Day", which frustrated Shane Gillette because there are no similarities between the 2 films.
This was originally an idea Shain Gillette had for a 10 minute short film, but he decided there was no way he could tell this story in 10 minutes.
