Storyline

When Grayson cracks open some drawers in the Cobb home, long-lost junk rekindles various aspects of the past, such as hideous pants for the boys to wear. Travis wants to take the wedding pictures, which arouses mixed feelings with ever-supportive Jules after seeing his anti-aesthetic gore-style. Bobby dumps Angie just for kissing another hunk, waving the fact he did for worse when married, but ends up giving in to lust. Ellie finds the Simon toy ideal to make Laurie admit her utter mental inferiority, yet ends up taking pity on the airhead. Written by KGF Vissers

Trivia

To spoof the title which no longer matches the content of the series, in the second season the producers started adding self-deprecating jokes to the show's title card. The one for this episode reads: Seriously, we spend more time coming up with these title cards than we do writing the show. "Cougar Town". See more »

The One With Travis's Photos...
24 May 2015 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

I enjoy this episode. It's so funny. I just like it so much.

In this episode, Travis "auditions" to be the wedding photographer for Jules and Grayson, but his photos are more creepy than romantic. All of severed toes and things like that. Who wants that? They try to find a way to break the news gently to him, but that doesn't work out very well. Meanwhile, Bobby dumps Angie for kissing another guy. And Ellie gives the Simon game to Laurie to make her finally admit to mental defeat, but Laurie surprises her when she does something unexpected.

Overall, I give this episode a 7 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Great.
