Storyline

The third monster returning from Alcatraz is the most despised yet: threefold convicted child murderer Kit Nelson kidnapped young Dylan Callahan from his bed, terrifying kid brother Liam to silence. Diego 'Doc' Soto realizes his MO is to spend the weekend with him and return the corpse home and breaks emotionally when Emerson Hauser heartlessly sets up a trap there, but finds them himself, although that doesn't go well either. In 1960, Warden Edwin James heaped his cruelty on top of customary abuse by fellow inmates and prison doctor Milton Beauregard. Written by KGF Vissers

Goofs

A large chunk of plot is based on Alcatraz having a commissary (i.e. a place to buy items not issued by the prison). However, rule 49 of the inmate regulations famously states: "49. SPECIAL PURCHASES: There is no commissary at Alcatraz. The institution supplies all your needs. You are not allowed to have anything sent to you from home, friends or relatives". See more »

Quotes

Tommy Madsen: [after Nelson, a child killer, is beaten up in the prison yard] They didn't beat you because of what you did. They beat you because of what you are.

Hauser Is Such A Heartless Creep!
29 October 2013 | by (Seymour Tennessee) – See all my reviews

He wants to get all of the inmates that escaped from Alcatraz. But really the guy does not care about anybody's life whether innocent or criminal. As he only wants to pursue his own agenda. Even at the expense of a kidnapped boy due to a inmate breaking out.

Soto seems to be the only one with morals. And that he knows what is important where there is that Hauser could just careless. As really Soto and Dr Lucy are the ones that are way developed then either Emerson or Rebecca even.

Wished that both doctors would had gotten together as both have such great chemistry in the very few scenes that they have had so far together. But that is due to Lucy being in a coma.

Rebecca is OK but still wished that there was an older actress that would not take Emerson's abuse to do whatever he wants to do.
