Kristen Bell Surfaces After Marrying Dax Shepard—See the Pic!

21 October 2013 5:04 AM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

Kristen Bell is as low-key as they come. Three days after the Veronica Mars actress wed Parenthood's Dax Shepard at the Beverly Hills county clerk office, the 32-year-old star quietly stepped out in Los Feliz, Calif., on Sunday, Sept. 20. While carrying clothes out of a friend's house, Bell flashed the 3-carat emerald-cut diamond ring that Shepard gave her in 2010. Though Shepard was the first to propose, Bell asked her beau for his hand in marriage in June 2013 after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the Defense of Marriage Act, which prohibited same-sex couples from legally tying the knot. The Hit and Run costars are known Lgbtq supporters, which is why Bell and Shepard made the joint decision to put their »

The Hey U Guys Instant Watching Guide – September 2nd 2013

2 September 2013 5:00 AM, PDT | HeyUGuys.co.uk | See recent HeyUGuys news »

Each week we take a look at what’s new and what’s essential viewing on the various VOD and movie streaming services.

Brutal rural violence, a film of echoes which spans centuries, a lovable scruff bunking off school and the most beautiful women in the world – they are all here this week. Whatever you watch, wherever you watch it – enjoy.

Sightseers (2012)

Ben Wheatley’s film feels very much like the early work of Mike Leigh with some splattery violence interspersed amongst the very British scenarios. If you were ever subjected to the kind of caravan holiday seen here as a kid, then there is much to identify with and the thought that a couple of murderous, damaged people could be running amok in this scene is endlessly amusing.

It’s a very funny film if you have that sort of sense of humour but in a way similar to Kill List, »

'Getaway' review: Ethan Hawke and Selena Gomez finish summer cinema season with silly car chase

29 August 2013 5:55 AM, PDT | Pop2it | See recent Pop2it news »

And thus does a summer that started with a silly car chase picture end with a sillier one."Getaway" has some of the elements of a good gear grinder -- a B-movie where a car takes a pivotal role in the cast.

It's got Ethan Hawke, doing enough of his own driving to pass muster with the likes of Ryan Gosling ("Drive"), Dax Shepard ("Hit and Run"), or Paul Walker ("Fast & Furious"). It's got a cool car -- a Shelby Super Snake version of the Ford Mustang.

It has an unusual city setting -- Sofia, Bulgaria.

And then Selena Gomez shows up as the mouthy, tech-savvy sidekick dragged along for a long, Christmas season chase through the not-quite-generic (tramlines, train tracks) mean streets of Sofia.

That's where the silly kicks in. Things turn pulse-pounding in the third act, but that's entirely too late to rescue this end-of-summer orphan.

Chris Brown’s Hit & Run Case Dismissed

15 August 2013 2:29 PM, PDT | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

Chris can rest easy now that his hit and run case was dismissed by the judge on Aug. 15. The victim didn’t even want to press charges or want any money!

Chris Brown is in the clear! The 24-year-old was involved in a hit and run case, which went to court, and the L.A. City Attorney really wanted charges to be pressed against Chris. But thankfully, the charges were dropped and we bet he’s thrilled!

Chris Brown’s Hit And Run Case Dismissed

Although the prosecutors really felt Chris was wrong to leave the scene without exchanging proper information on the day of his hit and run, in May of 2013, it appears the judge didn’t see it that way.

In case you forgot, Chris was caught driving without insurance or a drivers license when he had a minor fender bender with a woman. Also in the car was his girlfriend Karrueche Tran. »

As the hit-and-run case against Chris crumbles, the R&B star was officially booked on August 5. The successful R&B singer took the necessary next step towards being fully exonerated. Read on.

Facing an alleged hit-and-run charge for an accident in May, Chris Brown was officially booked on August 5. The singer reportedly turned himself in a day ahead of schedule, so that he could avoid being photographed by the paparazzi.

Chris Brown Goes To Jail — Enters The Slammer In Hit-And-Run Case

According to online records from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Chris arrived at the Van Nuys jail at 2:40 p.m., was booked two minutes later and then released at 3:22 p.m. with no bail.

Getting booked is merely a step towards getting the hit-and-run charge dismissed. For a judge to actually hear the case — and to then drop the charge — Chris first needs to be officially put into the system. »

24 July 2013 5:37 PM, PDT | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

After Chris’ probation was revoked on July 15 following a hit-and-run case, the ‘Fine China’ singer seemed dangerously close to spending up to four years in prison. But new developments suggest the case will be dismissed soon.

Chris Brown Hit & Run Case Crumbling — Two Charges Dropped

Golden Trailer Awards: Six things we learned

4 May 2013 10:20 AM, PDT | EW - Inside Movies | See recent EW.com - Inside Movies news »

Last night, trailer editors gathered at the Art Deco-inspired Saban Theater in L.A. to learn who would receive the highest honor in their field — the Golden Trailer. Attendees in Hawaiian shirts, sequined dresses, suits and ties, and high-heeled boots settled in around the auditorium for two hours of supercuts.

Co-hosts Rob Schneider and Aisha Tyler took turns making fun of the movies the trailers were selling, including resurrecting some punching bags from the most recent awards season, like Les Miserables. Between such outdated jokes, the audience was treated to “nano trailers” — cuts of cuts from the nominated films.
