Trivia

When Dr. Max Bergmann meets Jeff Morrison, Max implies that he knows Morrison. Of course Masi Oka and 'Greg Grunberg' have met before, in Heroes (2006). In addition, when Max tries to remember where he met Jeff before, Max screws his eyes tightly shut, which is the same thing Hiro did whenever he wanted to freeze time or teleport. See more »

Goofs

When the team breaks into the victim's house, her dog greets Danno then waits by the door. Someone says he's waiting for his owner. In reality, dogs sense the death of their owners from miles away. Being that he sniffed and licked Danno, who was in the presence of the slain owner hours prior, the dog would have smelled her death and would have been howling and acting forlorn, not sat up curiously waiting at the door for her. Quotes

Steve McGarrett: Can you explain to me again why I'm sitting in the back and the dog's riding shotgun?
Danny 'Danno' Williams: Well, I already told you he needs the window open.
Steve McGarrett: Oh, yes. Right. How else is he going to enjoy his tour of Waikiki?
Danny 'Danno' Williams: You know, for your information, dogs get car sick.

Danno gets a... DOGGY!!!
5 September 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

ITN METER: 7*******/10-STARS for cuteness overload.

Danno + doggy = adorable! How come they didn't let him keep him? Minus 3 stars for the bad writing and missed future fun opportunities here! Because the dog has way more stage presence, charisma and acting abilities than Alex O'No!

Best scenes:

Danno & team break into the victim's house and her dog takes to Danno right away.

Danno has McGarrettt ride in the back of his car, like the bitch he is, so that the doggy (whose name I forgot, so let's call him "Doggy") can ride shotgun and partake of the window air while Danno drives him around Waikiki.

We also learn that Danno hates Hawai'i. I forgot why. I ought to review while watching but then I miss the show, which means less Scott Caan up my cornea and into my memory banks for my later personal use. Also, my pizza would get cold.

McGarrett is mean: he referred to Doggy as "the mutt". I wish they'd kill McGarrett off and Adam takes his place because Adam is one fine piece of Hawaiian sashimi. Or even Kamekona. He can kick Hawaiian ass better, then be back on time to sell shrimp.

You should watch this episode because I said so, but don't look at McGarrett cos then the show is so much better! Hopefully, the dude will break more bones and have to go to rehab half season 6 so it's the Danno show all over again. Oh, YEAH!!
