Return to Jurassic Park: Making Prehistory (2011)

*** (out of 4)

The second of a three-part series taking a look at Steven Spielberg's JURASSIC PARK. Once again the director is joined by Kathleen Kennedy, Stan Winston, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and others as they discuss the making of the film. This here is another entertaining documentary as it shows a lot of stuff that wasn't in the actual film. There's a lot of discussion about certain scenes that ended up not being in the movie and there's also talk about certain things that were changed including one scene where Goldblum was supposed to be frightened but instead was changed to make him look heroic. There's some great stuff dealing with the sound mix as well as stories dealing with the T-Rex and how there was a scene with water but Winston wasn't told that the dinos needed to be water proof so no one knew what was going to happen.
