Frank looks after Jonas for the weekend
24 October 2012 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

After the assault on Arne it isn't long before Frankie realises that he was the real target. Knowing that he is in danger he increases the security at his club and has his people keep an eye open for two Americans. They aren't the only people keen to talk to them; Police Chief Laila Hovland is convinced that they had something to do with Geir's murder in New York after something belonging to him was discovered in their hotel room. Nobody knows where they are though as they are laying low outside town for a few days. While this is going on Sigrid is away leaving Frank to look after Jonas; trying to act as a father figure he teaches the boy to play poker and 'helps' him write the speech that he is to give at the National Day celebrations.

After the drama of the last couple of episodes it looked as if humour was taking a back seat to the action as the season approached its conclusion however this was one of the funniest episodes so far! Highlights included Arne's reaction when he learnt that Torgeir had slept with his mother, Jonas taking Torgeir to the cleaners in a game of poker and the two mafia heavies delaying their attack on Frank when three rather attractive Norwegian girls asked them to take pictures of them running round a lake naked! That isn't to say the plot doesn't move along though; the ending certainly raised the stakes in a way that should lead to a great season finale.
