6 out of 11 people found the following review useful.
a well-composed & well-executed plot, 7 June 2013
Author: wvisser-leusden from Netherlands

'Kill for me' deals with a serious issue: violence against women. Which does not make it a film to relax with, neither does it leave you with a pleasant aftertaste.

This may be responsible for its modest 5,5 evaluation. However, one feels this score underestimates the quality of 'Kill for me'.

In this respect, first of all we should consider its storyline. Coherent, with complications ingeniously dealt with, gradually releasing its surprising developments throughout. This surely breathes quality.

The same goes for the acting. In particular that of the two female leads who competently carry 'Kill for me' to its end. Quite in line with its issue, the girls appear as normal humans -- devoid of glamor or other shining gadgets. This approach connects well with the film's background, the countryside of British Columbia. As well as with the quality of its shooting: just competent, and no more.
