Storyline
Chummy's imperious,titled mother visits. She looks down on Peter Noakes and leans on her daughter to end the relationship. Chummy considers becoming a nun but,inspired by a young wife whose triplets she delivers in trying circumstances,defies her mother and has her wedding on her own terms. Elderly,senile Sister Monica Joan,prone to wandering around the area shoeless,is arrested for shop lifting and appears in court. Jimmy proves to be the hero of the hour by driving to Chichester to collect the head of the order,Mother Jesu Emanuel,whose speech on behalf of the old lady leads to her acquittal. Jenny then realises that she has been a fool to think that she could have a relationship with the married Gerald who would never leave his wife for her. Written by
